Service Description: 

We provide advocacy services at ARD (special education) meetings by attending in person or by phone for members. These services can include reviewing your concerns, providing you with a clear understanding of your options, helping you get the special services needed, developing or revising a behavioral plan, helping you interpret IEP (Individual Education Program) goal progress or lack of progress, helping write new goals or correcting existing goals so they are objectively measured, and helping write correspondence on your behalf to the schools to express concern.

AFNIC provides a variety of services to children with neurological disorders, their families, and their schools. To obtain services, you will have to first become a member (the dues are $50/year). If your family makes less than $30,000 per year and you are unable to afford these fees, please contact us about alternative ways that you can support AFNIC.
