Service Description: 

The online Graduate Certificate in autism spectrum disorders program is delivered by ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. The program is valuable for those interested in the fields of counseling, social work, speech pathology, various fields of therapy, teaching and program management in any area which provides services to individuals on the autism spectrum. This 15-credit hour certificate program consists of 5 classes. The graduate certificate can be completed within a two-year period along with a graduate degree or as a stand-alone certificate.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must fulfill the requirements of both the Graduate College and the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. Applicants are eligible to apply if they have earned a minimum of a bachelor's degree (business, economics, education, psychology or equivalent) or master's degree from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 hours of a student's first bachelor's degree program, or applicants must have a minimum of 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00 = "A") in an applicable master's degree program.
