Ahora y Siempre, Inc is an HCS/TxHmL provider with services available in all 9 coverage areas of DADS statewide programs. That means we are authorized to serve you anywhere in Texas. We provide long-term comprehensive care and support services for adults and children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and others. Ahora y Siempre is a leading provider, recognized for our vast array of supports and services dedicated to the care for individuals with complex disabilities and behavioral challenges across Texas.
The goal of Ahora y Siempre is to provide lifelong services for adults and children diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and related conditions, and to promote personal growth toward a happy, healthy, and safe life within their community.
Our vision is to work in partnership with the community at large, to continually improve the status and quality of life for people with developmental disabilities, by providing a “personal touch” that perhaps they do not receive elsewhere.
Ahora y Siempre has been a provider of Home and Community-Based Services since August 1, 2011.
Ahora y Siempre has added new programs and services throughout the years and continues to be innovative in its approach to Home and Community-Based Services and Texas Home Living Services. The Program Directors, staff, and contracted healthcare professionals have over 20 years experience combined.
Eligibility is restricted to adults and children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities or a related condition who:
Meet the Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with an Intellectual Disability or Related Conditions (ICF/IID) Level of Care (LOC) 1 criteria;
Are eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI), or eligible for Medicaid under one of the optional Medicaid groups covered by the HCS program;
Require services that do not exceed the cost limits set by the State of Texas;
Are not enrolled in another Medicaid waiver program; and Choose to participate in the HCS program instead of the ICF/IID program.
