Service Description:
Five Oaks Achievement Center is a private residential treatment center which provides services for special needs children placed through school districts, MH/MR, TDFPS, and insurance entities. Five Oaks personnel use a multi-faceted approach to behavior modification that factors in the unique qualities of the individual. This social-cognitive style utilizes the positive benefits of Applied Behavior Analysis while factoring in the child's self-efficacy. Five Oaks' 24 hour services specialize in the treatment of children who may be presenting a combination of behavioral, learning and social difficulties. These problems may result in a failure to succeed at home, school, or in the community.
Five Oaks Achievement Center is licensed by the Texas Dept. of Family and Protective Services as a Residential Treatment Center, by the Texas Education Agency as an approved nonpuplic school, and by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

Five Oaks Achievement Center serves children ages 4-22 with one or more of the following disability conditions qualifying them for special education services: autism, emotional disturbance, learning disability, mental retardation, non-categorical early childhood, other health impairment, speech impairment, tramatic brain injury.
